Enter your Sermorelin vial size, the water you add and your dose to get the units to draw on a U-100 syringe. The units chart and water table below cover 2, 5, 9, 15 mg vials.
Units on a U-100 insulin syringe for common amounts, with 2.5 mL of bacteriostatic water in the vial. With a different water amount, use the calculator above.
| Dose (mcg) | 2 mg vial + 2.5 mL | 5 mg vial + 2.5 mL | 9 mg vial + 2.5 mL | 15 mg vial + 2.5 mL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100 mcg | 12.5 units 0.125 mL | 5 units 0.05 mL | 2.8 units 0.028 mL | 1.7 units 0.017 mL |
| 200 mcg | 25 units 0.25 mL | 10 units 0.1 mL | 5.6 units 0.056 mL | 3.3 units 0.033 mL |
| 300 mcg | 37.5 units 0.375 mL | 15 units 0.15 mL | 8.3 units 0.083 mL | 5 units 0.05 mL |
| 500 mcg | 62.5 units 0.625 mL | 25 units 0.25 mL | 13.9 units 0.139 mL | 8.3 units 0.083 mL |
| 1000 mcg | 125 units* 1.25 mL | 50 units 0.5 mL | 27.8 units 0.278 mL | 16.7 units 0.167 mL |
* More than one 1 mL syringe. Use more water or split the draw.
Water only changes how much liquid each dose takes up, not how much Sermorelin is in it. To land a 200 mcg dose on a round number of units, add:
| Vial | So 200 mcg = 10 units | So 200 mcg = 20 units |
|---|---|---|
| 2 mg | 1 mL | 2 mL |
| 5 mg | 2.5 mL | 5 mL |
| 9 mg | 4.5 mL | 9 mL |
| 15 mg | 7.5 mL | 15 mL |
Example numbers only. They come from the default vial, water and amount above, not a recommendation.
It depends on how much water is in the vial. With a 5 mg vial and 2.5 mL of water, 200 mcg is 10 units (0.1 mL) on a U-100 syringe. Change the vial or water amount above to see your number.
There's no single right amount. More water makes each unit weaker and the draw bigger, which is easier to measure. Less water makes the draw smaller. Many people pick an amount that puts their dose on a round number of units. The "Units → water to add" tab and the table above work this out.
At 200 mcg per dose, a 5 mg vial holds 25 doses. The amount of water doesn't change this.
No. This page only converts amounts you enter into syringe units. Ask a licensed clinician about whether and how to use Sermorelin.
